Joyce Hawkes is a certified counselor in Seattle, Washington. As a biophysicist and cell biologist she managed the electron microscope lab for National Marine Fisheries. Following a near-death experience in 1984, Joyce changed careers, embarking on an extensive exploration of indigenous spiritual and healing traditions, which she incorporated into her book, Cell-Level Healing: The Bridge from Soul to Cell. Her second book is Resonance: Nine Practices for Harmonious Health and Vitality. Dr. Hawkes maintains a private practice in Seattle and keeps a busy schedule of teaching and conference presentations in the Seattle area, across the US and abroad.
Helen is certified by the Institute for Therapeutic Learning in Seattle, Washington, and is a registered hypnotherapist in Washington state. She specializes in trauma release. Helen studied with Joyce Hawkes in the practice of Cell-Level Healing and co-teaches with Joyce on a regular basis in Montreal, the Bahamas, New York, and Seattle. Under the penname Amanda Lorenzo, Helen is a children’s author and winner of the coveted Moonbeam Gold Medal for her Runt Farm series. Helen is a long time student of meditation and yogic philosophy and spent extended time in India.
